Relatively unknown until her stint as the hybrid terminator T-X in the defunct Terminator 3 movie, she has moved on with other B rated flair such as BloodRayne and In the Name of the King. She was granted the starring role in her own Sci-fi series Painkiller Jane before it was canceled after just 22 episodes. Kristanna is currently portraying Paige Sobel on the Showtime hit series The L Word.

Next on the Daily Rate, 32 year old Louisiana native and actress Susan Ward. Although not a big name actress, this beautiful woman has a recognizable face from the many character roles she has played on both the small and big screen. Though mostly known for her roles in soap operas like All My Children, Malibu Shores, and Sunset Beach, she has branched out into more and more roles in cinema as well. Next up for her The Chaos Theory with Mimi Rogers, and the tv mini-series The Treasure of Ugarit.

Next up, I have chosen 29 year old Texan actress Michelle Rodriguez. Besides being a wonderful Latino mixture of beauty and brawn, this lady has had a short but satisfying career on both the big and small screens. Michelle first hit the scene with the critically aclaimed indie hit Girlfight. She went on to star in such big screen hits as The Fast and the Furious, Resident Evil, Blue Crush, and S.W.A.T. before settling for a role in Uwe Boll's Bloodrayne. Most people were not even aware of her before her role as the troublesome LAPD cop Ana Lucia on the ABC hit show Lost (she was in 24 episodes before her character was shot to death). Michelle's next big project is staring in the James Cameron movie Avatar as Trudy Chacon.

The most interesting thing about Michelle (IMO) and the particular reason that I posted her now is that she had a long term love affair/relationship with our previous Daily Rate Kristanna Loken. Apparently Kristanna came out of the closet a couple of years ago (on Ellen no doubt), and "hooked" up with her co-star Michelle on the set of Bloodrayne. Now I might be a little daft, but that's hot.

Next up, our first February Daily Rate, 32 year old Texas native, actress, and object of lust to many, Eva Longoria-Parker (for those living under a rock, she married NBA player Tony Parker not too long ago). Eva has been well known for many reasons. Whether its her portrayal as Gabrielle Solis in over 81 episodes of Desperate Housewives, her many many Maxim Magazine shoots, or her much publicized romance and subsequent marriage to NBA star Tony Parker, Eva has managed to stay in the spotlight. She has had some minor/supporting roles on the big screen in such movies as The Sentinel and The Heartbreak Kid, but never carried a starring role until this weekend's release of Over Her Dead Body. Next up for Eva in 2008, besides the continuation of Desperate Housewives, are two movies Food Fight! and Lower Learning.

Next up on our Daily Rate, 22 year old California native/actress Kaley Cuoco. Although relatively young, Kaley has been acting since the age of 7, initially in one episode bit parts. She reached a small level of notoriety after getting cast in the John Ritter television series 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter (which shortly after his death was merely titled 8 Simple Rules) as the older and bumbling blond sister Bridget*. Kaley went on to spend a season on Charmed and more bit parts in other shows before landing her own series The Big Bang Theory as the hottie across the hall, Penny. The show lasted only 8 episodes before the pending writer's strike put it on indefinite hiatus. Next up for Haley, two some-what B rated flicks, Killer Movie and Penthouse.




*A little bit of trivia to know is that Amy Davidson, which played her younger sister Kerry in the series is actually six years older then Kaley in real life.

Amy Winehouse is Myspace babe of the Day part 1

Well thanks to Ramplate, Angelina Jolie received the highest Daily Rate of all time with an average of 5,882,352,941,184.76 which is fairly high. In reality (and giving Ramplate a high rating), she came out with an 8.94 average, which would have been higher if not for Sabin's 5 (to each their own I say).

Well, I am going to go out on a limb on today's Daily Rate and go on a rant. One, I am running out of time this morning before my meetings to really get into a good daily rate girl and two, well I am going to use this thread to post my rant and distaste for the singer known as Amy Winehouse. As many already know, she packed in 5 out of 6 Grammy awards she was nominated for including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, New Artist, Pop Vocal Album, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Then, she topped off the awards show with a performance via satellite that was so sloppy and poorly performed that it was past awkward and uncomfortable to watch.

Don't get me wrong, everyone has their issues, and Amy's have been all over the media this past year thanks mostly to her sudden rise in popularity, but I just don't get her, her music, or why the industry feels the need to reward her for being an unhealthy role model and coked out train wreck. So think of today's post as a not so hot Daily Rate.......
